Dr. Christopher Thacker, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Thacker joined Tennessee Valley Urology Center (TVUC) in 2001 and brings over two decades of clinical and surgical experience in the field of urology. He is dedicated to advancements and innovations in urology, making him a valued member of the TVUC team.

Expertise

Dr. Thacker has provided a wide variety of procedures for a broad range of urologic conditions over his career. Particular interests include urologic stone disease and prostate conditions. In 2019, Dr. Thacker was certified in the UroLift® system, a minimally invasive procedure for patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) that allows for faster treatment and recovery. His expertise in this innovative treatment enhances the comprehensive urologic services available at TVUC.

Personal

In his free time, Dr. Thacker enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church and loves outdoor activities such as fishing, mountain biking, and playing tennis. He also enjoys live music, particularly Bluegrass, and loves sharing his interests with his patients.
